# Gerald Docenko - IT Consulting, Software Development and KNX-MCP > Official consulting and developer website of Gerald Docenko, an independent IT consultant and software developer based in Garching near Munich, Germany, and the developer of KNX-MCP, an ETS App with an integrated Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for ETS5 and ETS6. Gerald Docenko combines business software, IT infrastructure and building automation. His work covers SAP HANA, SAP BI, SAP CAR, ABAP and Fiori/UI5 development; Sage and ERP integration; Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Windows Server; Proxmox virtualization and hosting; networking and security; local AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), MCP integrations and Python automation; and KNX building automation. The English website is at https://docenko.eu/. German and Russian versions are available at /de/ and /ru/. docenko.eu is the developer and consulting website; knx-mcp.com is the separate KNX-MCP product website. KNX-MCP gives compatible AI clients access to open ETS projects through the official ETS SDK, directly or through a compatible MCP bridge. It supports project inspection, analysis and documentation, controlled changes to project data, and KNX bus operations. Read-only mode, per-tool permissions and confirmations control access. Device programming is blocked by default. The app runs inside ETS and does not route project data through a Gerald Docenko cloud service; data processing by a connected AI provider depends on the chosen client and configuration. KNX-MCP is independently developed and is not a product of the KNX Association. ## Gerald Docenko - [Professional profile](https://docenko.eu/#about): Background and approach as an IT consultant and developer. - [Consulting and development services](https://docenko.eu/#services): SAP, ERP, Microsoft, virtualization, networking, AI, KNX and building security. - [Contact](https://docenko.eu/#contact): Business contact details and enquiries. - [KNX-MCP on the developer website](https://docenko.eu/#product): Short introduction to the in-house product. ## KNX-MCP - [Product website](https://knx-mcp.com/): Product overview, architecture and current release information. - [Features](https://knx-mcp.com/features.html): Project analysis, controlled editing, KNX bus access and permissions. - [KNX Online Shop](https://my.knx.org/shop?action=search&search=KNX-MCP): Official shop search for KNX-MCP; see the current listing for availability and terms. - [Setup](https://knx-mcp.com/setup.html): Installation in ETS5 and ETS6, enabling Project MCP and connecting a compatible AI client. - [FAQ](https://knx-mcp.com/faq.html): Compatibility, permissions, data processing, distribution and support. - [Community and support](https://github.com/Docenko-Development/knx-mcp-community): Public documentation, discussions, bug reports and release notes.
